License Renewal Terms
ApexCharts licenses are structured as annual subscriptions. This page explains how renewals work, what happens at expiry, and how to manage your subscription.
License Types and Renewal Schedules
ApexCharts offers the following license types on 12-month subscription cycles:
Commercial License
- Billed annually, per developer seat.
- Automatically renews 12 months from the date of purchase.
- Renewal notifications are sent to the billing email address on file 30 days prior to subscription expiration.
- If you choose not to renew, you must cancel before the renewal date to avoid being charged for the next cycle.
- After cancellation or non-renewal: you retain the right to continue using the version of ApexCharts licensed at the time of your last active subscription, but you will no longer receive updates, new features, or technical support.
OEM / Redistribution License
- Billed annually, covers unlimited developer seats.
- Automatically renews 12 months from the date of purchase.
- Renewal notifications are sent to the billing email address on file 30 days prior to subscription expiration.
- Continuous use of ApexCharts within an OEM/embedded product requires an active subscription. If the OEM license lapses and is not renewed, you must cease redistribution of ApexCharts as part of your product until the license is reinstated.
Builder License
- Billed annually.
- Continuous use requires an active subscription.
- Same renewal notification and cancellation terms as OEM above.
Community License
- Free of charge. No renewal required.
- Eligible for organizations with annual revenue under USD $2,000,000.

Grace Period
There is no grace period after subscription expiry. To avoid any disruption to support and update access, please ensure your subscription renews successfully or is manually renewed before the expiry date.
Enterprise and Multi-Year Agreements
For organizations requiring multi-year commitments, fixed pricing, or custom invoicing terms (e.g., purchase order requirements), please contact our enterprise sales team:
- Email: sales@apexcharts.com
Enterprise agreements are subject to a separately negotiated contract and may include fixed renewal deadlines agreed upon in writing.
