Heatmap Charts

Heatmap is a visualization tool that employs color the way a bar chart employs height and width in representing data. Heatmap uses bright-to-dull color spectrums to demonstrate which portion of a plot/page receives more attention than the other. JavaScript Heatmap describes a set of data through variations in coloring. It provides a visual summary of information. A heat map is used to cross-examine multivariate data. Unlike charts where interpretation is required, tables where understanding is paramount; heatmap is self-explanatory and intuitive. Heatmaps allow the possibility of making complex data sets comprehensible and actionable.
